November, 14th
We are blessed beyond borders.
If I had to leave myself and look at my life from a distance I would see endless blessings. I would see God's favor and I would know there's something extra ordinary going on. God has taken my entire life and turned it into one big mirecle and I know everything we do is blessed by the grace of God on a permanent basis.
I feel thankful for living a life that is blessed in abundance. Our true blessings lies in the relationships we have with our family, our beautiful four children, our lifestyle, our schools, the people we call our friends, our community and our every day living.
I am thankful that even when we face mountains, which we do on a daily basis, we are still blessed in the middle of the climb. We still see His hand in everything we do.
James 1:17 - Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change life shifting shadows. I am thankful to being blessed with the one consistant thing in my life, God.
November, 15th
I am thankful for trials and tribulations.
It's not easy to walk into a storm, it's not even normal to walk towards a storm. Hunam nature wants to run from danger, but as life has it there are certain trials and tribulations that we can't run from. We need to face our fears and endure the lesson.
I am thankful for these lessons, no matter how hard it is to face difficult times and situations, I see it as a personal teaching class from God. Sometimes it's the only way to learn. Sometimes it's the only way to get to the other side.
I am thankful that God takes the time to teach me and that He is growing me into the woman that He needs me to be in order to do the work He has called me to do.
I see this as a blessing as well, and although I sometimes want to run away or ask the big question, "but why God?" I know the plans God has for me.
Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I am thankful to being a student of Christ.
